While I travel I find I have a handful of documents,
itinerary and tickets as well as my passport. And to add to all of this I carry an extra
copy of everything in-case I lose or misplace the originals.
On my last trip I took my USB drive with me and a copy of
all my travel documents stored on it, this USB drive is shock and water proof. And I also took the time to set up a Google
Drive, which is a virtual drive. I can
upload documents, photo’s, videos and other file types and store them on the
Google servers and I can access my personal folder at any time anywhere from my
laptop or my phone. I find it a great way to store a backup of my travel
documentation.
I also find it a great way to back up my photos and video
while I’m away, in-case you misplace or your camera is stolen. You may have
lost the camera but if you have backed-up your photos and video to Google Drive
all your precious memories are safe guarded on Google Drive.
I like the Google Drive for a few reasons; it’s linked to a
great email service which can be accessed from anywhere. Google drive is free
to 15GB and it’s combatable with all devices and most of all is safe and secure.

There is a long list of other companies who offer a virtual
drive for you to back-up your files, but most charge a fee. Here is a link to Cloud
Storage Industry Review page where the top 10 are featured. But there is also a
fee with each of them.
